Located opposite The Boathouse Hotel, Patonga Beach is a small bay with calm waters, suitable for swimming. It is not patrolled.
PEARL BEACH
Pearl Beach is located a 5 minute drive north of The Boathouse Hotel, and is a large, protected beach. It does not often have big swell, it is not patrolled.
UMINA BEACH
Located a 10 minute drive north of The Boathouse Hotel, is a large surf beach. It is not patrolled.
PALM BEACH
Located a 30 minute ferry trip across the water from Patonga, Palm Beach is known for its surf breaks. It is a patrolled beach during the warmer months of the year.

ETTALONG BEACH
Ettalong Beach is located an 18 minute drive north of Patonga, and offers a small selection of boutique shops, as well as a supermarket and markets on the weekend.
ERINA
Located a 40 minute drive north of Patonga, Erina has the largest shopping centre on the Central Coast, Erina Fair.

The largest markets on the Central Coast, Ettalong Markets offer clothing, homewares and food stalls. Every weekend 9am - 4pm at the corner of Ocean View and Schnapper Road, Ettalong.

Patonga Beach Boat Ramp is located 500m north of The Boathouse Hotel.
The Boathouse Hotel has 3 private moorings in front of the Hotel, which are available to use (subject to availability).
Patonga is known for its fishing, with many working fishing boats in Patonga Bay who supply seafood to Sydney Fish Market daily.
Patonga Creek, located a five minute walk north-west
of The Boathouse Hotel, is a quiet fishing spot with calm waters.
In front of The Boathouse Hotel, the beach and the wharf are ideal fishing spots.

Umina Beach is known for its surf break. A scenic drive will take you to renowned surf beaches such as Copacabana, Avoca,
Terrigal and Forresters.
For learning to surf, Central Coast Surf Academy offers one-on-one or group lessons for beginners through to experienced surfers.
For surfboard hire, Central Coast Surfboard Hire is located at Toowoon Bay, north of Patonga.
Electric hydrofoil lessons are offered by Electric Surf Hut, available nearby at Ettalong + Booker Bay.
Stand up paddle boarding is a fun water activity. Hire a paddle board and have lessons with Bombora SUPFit at Ettalong Beach.

WARRAH TRIG TO WARRAH LOOKOUT
This walk takes you from the Warrah Trig Station to the
Warrah Lookout, which offers panoramic views of Broken Bay,

PATONGA TO PEARL BEACH WALKING TRACK
Bring your swimmers on this walk. It begins at Patonga Beach
and ends at Pearl Beach, with beautiful Australian bush scenery along the way. This walking track requires moderate fitness, and is accessible from the North end of Patonga Beach.
